In a mixing bowl, add besan (gram flour), salt, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, curmin powder, amchur powder & ajwain (carrom seeds).
Add water little by little at a time & whisk to a semi-thick batter. Batter should be lump free.
Check the seasoning at this time.
Add finely chopped onion, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste & finely chopped coriander. Mix well.
In mean time, heat a non-stick pan and drizzle a teaspoon of oil.
Take the bread slice and dip it in the besan batter. Make sure to coat the batter evenly on to the bread.
Place the slice on the hot tava / pan.
Drizzle very little oil along the edges of the bread.
Let the bread cook for about 1-2 mintues on medium flame till the base is cooked and light brown spots appear.
Flip and fry the bread from other side.
Similarly fry the remaining bread slices.
Besan Bread Toast is ready.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup, coriander-mint chutney or dry garlic chutney.
