Khatti Meethi Imli Ki Chutney Tamarind Chutney

Soak 1 cup tamarind in water for about 4-5 hrs

Remove pulp & sieve it through strainer

We need a smooth tamarind paste

Add gud / gul / jaggery

Add 1/2 cup water

Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin seeds powder, black salt and normal table salt.

Cook this tamarind iwater on low to medium flame. Let this mixture come to a boil.

Once the tamarind chutney has come to a boil, remove the pan from heat and keep it aside till it cools down.
