Crispy & Best Moong Dal Pakoda (Moong Dal Vada)

Soak 1 cup yellow moong dal in water for 4-5 hours

Once soaked, it will double in size. Drain the water. 

In a blender add, ginger, green chillies, black pepper corns, cumin seeds & moong dal

Without adding water grind to a coarse paste.

Now grind the soaked moong dal by adding little water.

Grind moong dal to a coarse paste.

Add the grounded masala, salt, curry leaves, hing & turmeric powder.

Mix the spices with the pakoda batter

Deep fry the pakodas on medium to high flame.

Fry the pakodas till  they are golden brown in colour.

Serve with fried & salted green chillies. Serve hot.
